Picnic Wine Bag Instructions

SUPPLIES:

Roc-lon® Multi-Purpose Cloth™ – White
1 – 15” x 6 ½” piece
½ yard of ribbon for tie
Oilcloth for embellishing
Fabric glue
Pinking shears
Rotary cutter
Mat
Quilters ruler

CONSTRUCTION:

Pink the short ends of the cloth. Fold cloth in half with short ends meeting. Stitch down both long sides using a ¼” seam allowance.
Turn right side out.

ADDING OILCLOTH FRUIT INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut grapes from oilcloth. Arrange on one side of the wine bag. Glue down with fabric glue.

OTHER OPTIONS:

Fabric appliqué is another technique that can be used to embellish this tote. Cut objects from fabric and place on bag. Secure by using a satin stitch all around.
Bag can also be decorated with machine embroidery or stamped with rubber stamps and acrylic paint.

FINISHING:

Insert bottle into the bag. Tie ribbon in a bow to secure.
